Online Teach of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing - Nebraska
A contract opportunity is available for a Teacher of the Deaf / Hard of Hearing to provide telehealth services supporting students remotely. This role involves delivering specialized instruction and support to children with hearing impairments, ensuring access to the curriculum and fostering communication skills through virtual platforms.
Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting assessments and developing individualized learning plans tailored to the needs of students who are deaf or hard of hearing.
- Delivering instruction and speech therapy sessions via telehealth technology.
- Collaborating with families, educators, and support staff to monitor student progress and adjust learning strategies.
- Providing guidance on assistive listening devices and auditory training techniques.

Desired qualifications and experience:
