Job Title: Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) – Consultative
Start Date: August 1, 2026
Position Type: Part-Time (Approx. 30 minutes per week)
Position Overview:
We are seeking a Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) to provide consultative support services beginning August 1, 2026. This is a very part-time role designed to support a specialized student need.
Role Details:
- Approximately 30 minutes per week (consultative services)
- Caseload includes 1 preschool student
Important Notes:
- The student is currently in a medically fragile condition
- It is uncertain if or when services will be required, as the student may not attend
- Position availability is contingent upon the student’s enrollment and needs
Qualifications:
- Appropriate DHH certification/licensure
- Experience working with preschool-aged students preferred
- Ability to provide consultative guidance to staff and caregivers
Pay:
- $25-35/hr depending on school experience
