Responsibilities:
Provide specialized instruction to students with hearing impairments
Develop and implement IEPs
Adapt curriculum and communication methods (ASL, auditory training, etc.)
Collaborate with staff, interpreters, and families
Monitor and document student progress
Support use of assistive hearing technology
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Deaf Education or related field
Active state certification in DHH
Knowledge of ASL and/or auditory-verbal strategies preferred
