Teacher of the Deaf | Ewen, Michigan

Qualifications & Experience:
- Current and valid Teacher of Deaf/Hard of Hearing license or certification
- Background in providing services to Deaf/Hard of Hearing students in educational settings
- Familiarity with IFSP and IEP processes and required documentation
- Ability to tailor instruction and support to a diverse range of student needs
- Effective communication skills for collaboration with teachers, families, and support staff
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized teaching strategies to promote student engagement and growth
- Collaborate with school personnel and families to coordinate services and accommodations
- Conduct and document assessments, track progress, and adjust instructional approaches as needed
- Advocate for students’ learning needs, ensuring compliance with all relevant guidelines
- Deliver both direct instruction and consultative support to students and staff
