- Hold, or be eligible for, the Indiana Exceptional Needs, Deaf and Hard of Hearing teaching license
- Experience working with students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing across a range of grade levels (K-12)
- Strong knowledge of instructional strategies, assistive technology, and best practices in DHH education
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with educators, families, and support staff
- Flexibility and adaptability to work within a consulting model and adjust to evolving caseload and service needs
Role Responsibilities:
- Serve as a resource and consultant for school staff and administration regarding Deaf and Hard of Hearing student needs
- Collaborate to develop and implement individualized educational strategies
- Provide input into service delivery models, offering both virtual and onsite support
- Participate in planning and IEP meetings as required
- Support inclusive practice and ensure legal compliance with student accommodations
- Uphold high standards of professionalism and responsiveness as part of a multidisciplinary team
