Qualifications:
- Current or eligible Indiana Exceptional Needs, Deaf and Hard of Hearing license
- Background in supporting Deaf and Hard of Hearing students in schools
- Experience delivering consultative services and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
- Strong knowledge of accommodations, assistive technology, and accessible instructional strategies
- Ability to work with a flexible caseload across a variety of grade levels (K-12)
- Adaptable to in-person and/or virtual service delivery, as needed
Responsibilities:
- Provide expert consultation to teachers and staff regarding best practices and strategies for Deaf/Hard of Hearing students
- Collaborate in developing IEP goals, accommodations, and classroom modifications
- Support school staff in implementing accessible materials and technology
- Conduct student observations and provide feedback to enhance academic achievement
- Attend and participate in relevant team meetings and planning sessions
- Stay current with trends and research in Deaf/Hard of Hearing education
