Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Valid certification as a Teacher of the Deaf/Hard of Hearing (K-12)
- Experience working in K-12 educational settings, preferably with itinerant or district-wide roles
- Strong knowledge of assistive technology and accommodations for Deaf/Hard of Hearing students
- Ability to collaborate effectively with general and special education staff, students, and families
- Excellent communication and advocacy skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and consultative support to Deaf/Hard of Hearing students at multiple school sites throughout the district
- Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Facilitate access to general education curriculum using specialized strategies and tools
