DHH Teacher | Adams, Massachusetts

This full-time, contract position serves as a district-wide Teacher of the Deaf/Hard of Hearing, collaborating with a dedicated team and paraeducator support. Qualifications:
- Valid teaching certification in Deaf/Hard of Hearing Education
- Experience working with elementary and secondary students
- Expert knowledge of assistive technology and learning tools for DHH students
- Strong collaboration and communication skills with multidisciplinary teams
- Comfortable working district-wide and adapting to changing environments
- Open to both in-person and virtual (VOCO) instruction
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver tailored instruction to DHH students, evaluating and adjusting approaches to address their individual needs
- Collaborate closely with para support and classroom staff across the district
- Develop and implement IEP goals and modifications to support student success
- Consult with general education teachers to foster inclusive classroom experiences
- Utilize and troubleshoot assistive devices and technology
- Communicate regularly with families and staff to monitor progress
