DHH Teacher | Great Barrington, Massachusetts

Key Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid teaching certification for Deaf / Hard of Hearing or related endorsement
- Experience as a Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing preferred
- Ability to manage a district-wide caseload, engaging with multiple ages and academic levels
- Strong communication and collaboration skills for partnering with support staff and faculty
- Comfortable adapting instruction to both elementary and secondary students
- Willingness to provide services virtually, if needed
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver specially designed instruction for students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) alongside the multidisciplinary team
- Foster an inclusive and accessible classroom environment
- Collaborate with educators, para support, and families to maximize student success
- Assess student progress and adjust strategies as needed for optimal outcomes
