Key Qualifications:

  • Certification as a Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing

  • Excellent collaboration abilities with students, families, and staff

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver specialized instruction in accordance with each student’s IEP
  • Work district-wide, meaning a varied caseload across different campuses
  • Provide language and communication support tailored to individual student needs
  • Collaborate with classroom teachers, paraprofessionals, and families
  • Monitor progress and document student growth
  • Help students develop advocacy and self-advocacy skills
