Deaf and Hard of Hearing Teacher - Adams, TN

Desired Qualifications:
- Valid Tennessee Department of Education certification in Deaf/Hard of Hearing services
- Current, or ability to obtain, Tennessee state fingerprint clearance
- Experience supporting K-12 students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing
- Strong communication and consultative skills, with a collaborative mindset
- Ability to adapt to different campus assignments as needs arise
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and consultative support to students with hearing impairments across multiple schools as assigned
- Collaborate with general and special education staff to facilitate IEP goals
- Offer expert guidance on accommodations and classroom strategies, ensuring accessibility
- Document progress, adjust support strategies, and communicate effectively with families
- Stay current with best practices in Deaf Education and promote an inclusive educational environment
