Qualifications:
- Valid teaching credential for Deaf/Hard of Hearing (DHH) or equivalent authorization
- Proven experience working with students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing in school settings
- Strong knowledge of instructional strategies and accommodations for DHH learners
- Comfortable managing caseload of up to 40 students
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work effectively in both in-person and virtual environments
- Experience with high school-aged populations preferred
Responsibilities:
- Deliver specialized instruction tailored to students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing
- Collaborate closely with general education staff and related service providers to support student learning and inclusion
- Develop and implement appropriate Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Maintain accurate records, document student progress, and participate in IEP meetings
- Assist with transition planning and advocate for students’ unique needs across educational settings
- Provide consultation, resources, and training for campus staff and families as needed
