Key Qualifications:
- Current and active Department of Education Certification for teaching Deaf/Hard of Hearing students

- Experience in a school setting is highly valued
- Current or willingness to complete fingerprint-based background clearance
- Adaptability and resourcefulness to serve students at different schools and grade levels
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities when working with families, educational teams, and related service providers
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide specialized instruction for students who are deaf or hard of hearing, adapting curriculum to meet individual learning needs
- Collaborate closely with general education teachers, special education teams, and families to ensure student progress and support
- Monitor, assess, and document student progress, making data-informed adjustments to instructional strategies
- Travel between multiple campuses, as assigned, to deliver services where they are most needed
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute professional expertise in the field of Deaf Education
