DHH Teacher | Coatesville, Pennsylvania
Seeking an experienced educator with expertise in teaching students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing for a contract opportunity starting December 2026 through June 2027. This full-time role serves Pre-K through 12th-grade students across approximately 12 campuses in Chester County, PA (Downingtown area). The position supports a caseload of 34 learners, ensuring access to quality education and fostering an inclusive environment.

Qualifications:
- Hold a valid Pennsylvania Deaf/Hard of Hearing (DHH) K-12 Instructional I or II license (required)
- Demonstrated experience teaching or supporting Deaf and Hard of Hearing students in school settings
- Comfortable collaborating across multiple school locations
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver instruction and support for Deaf/Hard of Hearing students, adapting materials and methods as appropriate
- Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs in collaboration with education teams and families
- Consult with classroom teachers and support staff to promote accommodations and integration
- Utilize assistive technology, visual aids, and alternative communication as needed
- Engage with parents/guardians to report progress and address concerns
- Travel between assigned campuses as scheduled
