This structured contract position offers the opportunity to work full-time, Monday through Friday, following the academic calendar from August 3, 2026, through May 28, 2027. Assignments may include various district hubs—serving Pre-K through elementary and a new middle school hub—where you'll tailor services to meet changing student needs.

Qualifications:
- Valid Tennessee Department of Education certification for teaching Deaf/Hard of Hearing students
- Experience teaching or consulting in school settings, preferably spanning K-12
- Strong understanding of educational strategies for DHH students
- Ability to travel to multiple campus locations as needed
- TN state fingerprint clearance is required or willingness to obtain under new district guidelines
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver instruction and consultative services to students who are Deaf/Hard of Hearing across assigned campuses
- Support teachers and staff in implementing accommodations and modifications as identified by each student’s IEP
- Assist in student evaluations and ongoing progress monitoring
- Participate in IEP meetings, providing input on best practices and student-centered solutions
- Collaborate with administrators, faculty, and parents to foster an inclusive educational environment
