Deaf and Hard of Hearing Teacher - Great Barrington, Massachusetts

Qualifications/Desired Experience:
- Valid certification in Deaf/Hard of Hearing education (state credentials preferred)
- Experience teaching students who are Deaf/Hard of Hearing at the elementary and/or secondary level
- Strong ability to individualize lessons and use best practices for DHH instruction
- Collaborative mindset for partnering with para-educators, general educators, and families
- Comfort with technology platforms, including those used for virtual instruction (if VOCO)
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging, differentiated instruction to students with hearing challenges across multiple grade levels
- Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs in collaboration with school teams
- Communicate regularly with families and staff members to support student progress
- Advocate for accessibility and inclusion within the district
- Provide expertise and resources to staff as the district-wide DHH specialist
