Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Valid certification or licensure as a Teacher of the Deaf/Hard of Hearing (TDHH)
- Experience working with students who are deaf or hard of hearing, preferably in a school setting
- Strong understanding of auditory/oral, ASL, and total communication approaches
- Ability to develop and implement individualized educational plans (IEPs)
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and educational teams

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct instruction and support to students who are deaf or hard of hearing
- Develop differentiated lesson plans that cater to each student’s unique learning style

- Monitor and document student progress, adjusting approaches as needed
- Engage in IEP meetings and parent conferences
