Key Qualifications:
- State of Alaska licensure (pending licensure also considered with proof/certification numbers and Type C certification)
- Experience teaching students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing

- Ability to engage effectively with students, families, and interdisciplinary teams
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Willingness to work onsite with some travel within the area (travel reimbursement provided)
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct instruction and support for a diverse caseload of approximately 10 students, adapting lessons to meet individual needs
- Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families to ensure appropriate accommodations and modifications are in place
- Assess student progress, maintain thorough records, and contribute to IEP development and meetings
- Serve as an advocate for Deaf/Hard of Hearing students and their access within the school community
- Develop engaging, accessible curriculum resources
