Qualifications and Desired Experience
- Active Massachusetts TDHH (Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing) credential required
- Experience working with students who are deaf or hard of hearing preferred
- Familiarity with consultative and direct service delivery models
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to tailor support to individual student needs across a wide age range
Responsibilities
- Deliver consultative and some direct instruction for a caseload of 43 students
- Provide expert guidance to general educators and staff to best support students’ educational goals
- Develop and adapt strategies, materials, and accommodations for diverse learners
- Monitor student progress, maintain documentation, and participate in IEP meetings
- Liaise with families, ensuring consistent updates and support
- Maintain sensitivity and awareness regarding students’ unique communication and learning needs
