Qualifications:
- Valid Massachusetts Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (TDHH) credential required
- Experience working with students who are deaf or hard of hearing, preferably across a wide age range
- Ability to manage and prioritize a caseload of 43 students
- Strong collaboration skills for consultative support with educational staff and families
- Flexibility and adaptability to address diverse student needs
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and consultative services, with a focus on consultative support
- Work three days each week, 24 hours total, in a dynamic part-time capacity
- Serve students in a variety of educational settings, supporting grades PreK–22
- Develop and adapt individualized education plans (IEPs) geared toward student growth
- Collaborate with general education teachers, specialists, and family members
- Participate in team meetings to ensure continuity of care and best practices
- Maintain records and monitor student progress
