Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (TDHH) | North Adams, Massachusetts

Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Valid teaching credentials in Deaf/Hard of Hearing education
- Experience working with students who are deaf or hard of hearing in school settings
- Strong knowledge of educational strategies for DHH students
- Experience or comfort collaborating with paraprofessional support
- Resourceful, organized, and adaptable for working across diverse age groups
- Open to both in-person and virtual/VOCO instructional formats
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver instruction and support for a caseload of DHH students at both elementary and secondary levels
- Collaborate with colleagues and paraprofessional support staff
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students
- Engage in regular communication with families and school personnel
- Adapt teaching materials and methods to ensure accessibility for all students
- Participate in team meetings and professional development as needed
