Qualifications & Skills:
- Credentialed as a Teacher of the Deaf/Hard of Hearing (DHH)
- Experience supporting students with a range of hearing needs, ideally in both elementary and secondary environments
- Comfortable with caseload management across different grade levels
- Strong communication and advocacy skills, collaborating with general educators, specialists, and families
- Open to both in-person and virtual/remote instruction
- Dedicated to fostering inclusive, accessible learning for all students
What You’ll Do:
- Deliver direct instruction and support to students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing across a district-wide caseload
- Adapt curriculum materials, instructional strategies, and classroom environments as needed
- Work alongside paraeducators for collaborative student support
- Conduct assessments and contribute to IEP development and implementation
- Serve as a vital resource for staff and families on best practices and accessibility
- Travel between sites within the district or work virtually, if preferred
