Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid certification in Deaf/Hard of Hearing education or related specialty
- Experience working with school-aged students who are Deaf/Hard of Hearing
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to travel between nearby schools (all within a short drive)
- Commitment to individualized education plans and student advocacy
Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct instruction to students who are Deaf/Hard of Hearing, ensuring access to curriculum
- Consult with classroom teachers and staff to support inclusion and accessibility
- Provide guidance and support to families and staff regarding hearing technology and accommodations
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student goal setting
- Travel to district schools (most sites within minutes of each other) 2-3 days a week
