Teacher of the Deaf in Williamstown, MA

Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid teaching certification as a Teacher of the Deaf/Hard of Hearing
- Experience working with students ages Pre-K through high school (preferred)
- Strong skills in creating and implementing individualized educational plans (IEPs) for DHH students
- Collaborative spirit and ability to work well with paraprofessionals, general education teachers, and families
- Comfortable delivering instruction both in-person and virtually (VOCO experience is a plus)
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct instruction to students who are deaf or hard of hearing across a district-wide caseload
- Adapt and implement curriculum and instructional materials based on students’ specific needs
- Consult with teachers, staff, and families to ensure accommodations are met
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress monitoring for IEPs
- Collaborate with para support to maximize student success
- Engage in ongoing professional development related to DHH education
