Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) - Lawrence, Massachusetts

Qualifications:
- Valid Massachusetts DHH (DESE) certification; alternatively, a SPED certification paired with substantial Teacher of the Deaf (TOD) experience will be considered
- Experience working as a Deaf/Hard of Hearing Specialist or Teacher of the Deaf/Hard of Hearing in school settings
- Strong understanding of student-centered approaches for students with hearing differences
- Collaborative mindset and clear communication skills
- Dedication to empowering and advocating for the needs of students
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized education plans tailored for each student
- Deliver engaging instruction in small classroom settings
- Foster a positive, inclusive learning environment
- Adapt materials and teaching strategies to student needs
- Collaborate with families, staff, and related service providers
- Monitor progress and communicate regularly with stakeholders
