Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) - Beverly, Massachusetts

Essential Qualifications:
- Current Massachusetts DESE certification as a Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH)
- Alternatively, a Special Education certification with demonstrated experience as a Teacher of the Deaf
- Prior experience working with Deaf/Hard of Hearing students strongly preferred
- Strong communication, collaboration, and classroom management skills
- Commitment to supporting diverse learning needs and fostering an inclusive, engaging classroom environment
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver individualized instruction for a small group of Deaf/Hard of Hearing students
- Collaborate with speech therapists, audiologists, and other educators
- Maintain thorough documentation and participate in IEP meetings
- Foster an encouraging and accessible learning environment
- Guide students’ academic and personal growth throughout the school year
