Your role will focus on a manageable classroom caseload of five students, allowing for deep connection and individualized attention. Starting on July 7, 2026, your day will run from 7:45 am to 3:15 pm, giving you clear structure and rhythm throughout the school year. You’ll be collaborating closely with multidisciplinary teams to create an inclusive, supportive learning environment.
You’ll thrive here if you have:
- Active Massachusetts DHH (DESE) certification; SPED certification considered for those with Teacher of the Deaf experience
- Previous background in classroom instruction for deaf and hard of hearing students
- Solid understanding of child development, communication modalities, and individualized educational planning
- Ability to engage, motivate, and differentiate for small groups
- Strong collaborative skills for working alongside families and specialists
