Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) - Longmeadow, Massachusetts

Key Qualifications:
- Certification or licensure as a Deaf / Hard of Hearing Specialist or Teacher
- Proficiency in American Sign Language required

- Previous experience working with children or adolescents who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing preferred
- Willingness to work on-site for the duration of the contract
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide direct instruction and support to students with hearing differences
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Adapt curriculum materials and instructional strategies to meet diverse learning needs
- Offer consultative services and strategies for accommodating students’ communication needs
- Participate in meetings, assessments, and professional development activities as required
