Beginning August 7th and extending through June 4th, you will collaborate with educators, families, and service teams, ensuring each student’s unique needs are addressed in a supportive educational environment. Your week will comprise 35 hours, offering you a balanced and engaging schedule. In appreciation of your specialized skills, you’ll earn between $35 and $45 per hour, depending on experience.
What We’re Looking For:
- Valid credentials or certification as a Teacher or Specialist for Deaf/Hard of Hearing students
- Comprehensive knowledge of instructional strategies and technologies for DHH learners
- Strong ability to assess student needs and create individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Experience collaborating across multidisciplinary teams and supporting classroom teachers
- Excellent communication, organization, and advocacy skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and consultative services to students with hearing impairments
- Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs tailored to each student’s goals
- Support classroom teachers with strategies, resources, and assistive technologies
- Foster positive relationships with families, providing guidance and updates
- Travel between school sites to ensure continuity of services
