Your skills in Deaf/Hard of Hearing education, paired with enthusiasm for student growth, will be essential as you support an assigned caseload (specific schools to be determined). The district is particularly interested in reviewing applications between mid- and late May.
Desired Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Deaf/Hard of Hearing Education (required); Master’s degree strongly preferred
- Current, valid Educator Certification for teaching Deaf/Hard of Hearing students
- Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL), with demonstration required during the interview
- Experience or coursework in math and English instruction
- References and copies of all certifications/licenses ready at time of application
- Ability to work effectively with students across elementary/middle or high school age groups
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging instruction in math and/or English to Deaf/Hard of Hearing students
- Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment
- Collaborate with faculty and staff to support student success
