Desired Experience & Qualifications:
- Valid teaching certification with a focus on deaf/hard of hearing education

- Skill in various communication modalities including ASL, speech, and/or cued speech
- Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, families, and community resources
- Resourceful, adaptable, and committed to inclusive education
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct instruction and support tailored to students who are deaf or hard of hearing
- Conduct assessments and contribute to the development and revision of IEPs
- Consult with general education teachers to adapt materials and instructional approaches
- Provide training or resources for staff and families to facilitate student success
- Advocate for accessibility and inclusion district-wide
- Monitor and document student progress
