DHH Teacher | Gridley, California

Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Valid credential/certification to teach students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing.
- Experience working with K-12 students, ideally in a school environment.
- Familiarity with cochlear implants and adaptive technologies.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently, traveling to different sites as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized and group instruction to Deaf / Hard of Hearing students per their IEPs.
- Consult and collaborate with general education teachers, administrators, and families to support student success.
- Monitor, evaluate, and document student progress; maintain accurate records.
- Provide insight and guidance regarding assistive listening devices and communication modalities.
- Adapt curriculum and instructional strategies to meet diverse student needs throughout the county.
