Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid teaching credential with Deaf/Hard of Hearing specialization
- Experience supporting students with hearing loss, including familiarity with cochlear implants and other assistive technology
- Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
- Ability and willingness to travel between multiple schools throughout the county
- Commitment to working fully on-site to provide direct, hands-on support
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized and group instruction tailored to students’ needs across a range of educational settings
- Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs for students with hearing-related needs
- Collaborate with general education staff, related service providers, and families to promote student engagement and success
- Utilize technology and resources to support communication and learning for students with varying degrees of hearing loss
- Provide consultation, resources, and professional development to school teams as needed
