Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing in Haverhill, MA

Key Qualifications:
- Valid Massachusetts Teacher of the Deaf/Hard of Hearing (TODHH) License issued by DESE
- Demonstrated experience as a DHH teacher in educational settings
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for working with students, parents, and school teams
- Comfortable managing a varied caseload and supporting student inclusion across multiple schools
- Commitment to fostering accessible and engaging learning experiences for students who are deaf or hard of hearing
Role Responsibilities:
- Provide direct instruction and specialized support services to students on your caseload
- Adapt and modify curriculum materials to meet individual learning needs
- Consult and collaborate with general and special education staff to ensure appropriate accommodations and support
- Participate in IEP development and meetings, tracking and reporting on student progress
- Serve as an advocate and resource for students and their families to help promote educational access and success
