DHH Teacher | Peabody, Massachusetts

Key Qualifications:
- Current Massachusetts Teacher of the Deaf/Hard of Hearing (TODHH) license through DESE
- Experience working with students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing across varied age groups or grade levels
- Strong communication skills to facilitate collaboration with general education teachers, support staff, and families
- Ability to adapt teaching strategies and materials to support individual student needs
- Organized and self-motivated, comfortable working across multiple school sites
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct instruction and support to a diverse caseload of students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing
- Develop, implement, and adjust individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate with classroom teachers and related service providers for integrated learning
- Support the social-emotional and academic growth of each student
- Provide consultation and resources to staff and families to promote accessibility
- Maintain regular progress monitoring and detailed record-keeping
