Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver specialized instruction to students who are deaf or hard of hearing
- Provide 1:1 support tailored to individual student needs
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Utilize assistive technology and communication strategies to enhance learning
- Monitor and evaluate student progress and adjust instructional methods accordingly
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Certification or licensure as a Teacher of the Deaf/Hard of Hearing
- Experience working with students who are deaf or hard of hearing in a school setting
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Knowledge of relevant educational laws and best practices in deaf education
- Ability to work onsite and provide direct support to students

Inyokern, CA – onsite
