Qualifications:
- Current TN Deaf Education Endorsement required
- Experience teaching or supporting Deaf/Hard of Hearing students in educational settings strongly preferred
- Ability to collaborate effectively with general education staff, families, and other professionals
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Dedication to fostering an accessible, supportive, and engaging learning atmosphere
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver personalized instruction and support for Deaf/Hard of Hearing students based on individual needs
- Develop and implement IEPs in collaboration with IEP teams
- Utilize best practices and assistive technologies to enhance the learning environment
- Advocate for student access and participation within general education settings
- Provide guidance and education to families and school staff as needed
- Maintain accurate records and progress reports
This part-time position encompasses two hours per week across two days. Pay ranges from $30 to $35 per hour.
