Key Qualifications:
- Current teaching certification in Deaf/Hard of Hearing education

- Innovative, student-centered approach to differentiated instruction
- Familiarity with IEP development and implementation
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging, accessible lessons tailored to high school students with varying levels of hearing ability
- Adapt curriculum materials and assessments to meet individualized needs
- Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment that encourages participation and confidence
- Monitor progress, maintain accurate records, and contribute to IEP meetings
- Advocate for student access, inclusion, and self-advocacy skills
- Consult with general education teachers and support staff to ensure best practices in mainstream and specialized settings
- Provide ongoing support to families and help connect them with needed resources
