- Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL) and familiarity with other communication modalities
- Strong collaboration skills to work alongside multidisciplinary teams
- Previous school-based experience or working with children/adolescents
- Commitment to student advocacy, inclusion, and equitable education
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and consultative services to students who are deaf or hard of hearing in various school settings
- Adapt curriculum materials and instructional approaches to support individual learning needs
- Utilize assistive technology and visual supports to maximize access to content
- Monitor student progress, maintain accurate records, and participate in IEP meetings
