Key Qualifications:
- Valid teaching certification with an endorsement in Deaf/Hard of Hearing (DHH)
- Experience teaching or supporting students who are deaf or hard of hearing in a school setting
- Familiarity with individualized education plans (IEPs) and accommodations for DHH students
- Strong communication skills and the ability to consult effectively with general education staff and families
- Ability to travel between locations as part of an itinerant assignment
- Team-oriented mindset, able to contribute to shared goals and participate in collaborative problem solving
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver specialized instruction and support to students with hearing loss, ensuring access to the curriculum and maximizing learning opportunities
