Qualifications/Preferred Experience:
- Current state licensure or eligibility as an Educational Audiologist, Speech Language Pathologist (with ASL certification), or Teacher for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing
- Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL) preferred
- Experience supporting students with hearing loss in educational settings
- Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, staff, and families
- Commitment to fostering inclusive, accessible learning environments
Responsibilities:
- Assess and support students with hearing loss, identifying and implementing appropriate interventions
- Provide direct instruction, support services, or audiological care in accordance with students’ IEPs
- Consult and collaborate with educators, support staff, and families to promote effective learning
- Deliver training and resources regarding hearing technologies, accommodations, and inclusive strategies
- Document interventions and monitor progress
