Qualifications/Desired Experience:
- Arizona certification as a Teacher of the Deaf/Hard of Hearing or eligibility to obtain
- Experience with K-8 students preferred
- Expertise in creating and implementing educational plans for DHH students
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach
- Knowledge of assistive technology and adaptive strategies for Deaf/Hard of Hearing learners
- Comfortable traveling between campuses (mileage reimbursed)
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver high-quality instruction tailored to individual student needs
- Work 40 hours per week, supporting students across multiple school sites
- Collaborate with classroom teachers, related service providers, and families to promote success
- Participate in IEP meetings and maintain accurate records
- Provide training and resources to staff on Deaf/Hard of Hearing strategies and tools
