Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Valid licensure or certification as a Deaf/Hard of Hearing Specialist or Teacher
- Previous experience working with deaf or hard-of-hearing students in a school setting
- Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL) and other modes of communication
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
- Ability to adapt to new environments and embrace diverse student needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct instruction and support to DHH students, adapting materials and teaching strategies
- Collaborate with classroom staff, related service providers, and families to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
