Key Responsibilities:
- Provide specialized instruction and support to students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing
- Collaborate with school staff and families to develop and implement IEPs
- Travel between multiple school sites (itinerant) or work exclusively at one middle school location
- Offer consultative services and advocate for accessible learning environments
- Accurately document progress and maintain compliance with policies
Desired Qualifications:
- Valid certification in Deaf/Hard of Hearing education
- Previous experience as a DHH Teacher or Specialist preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Flexibility to travel to multiple sites (if itinerant)
