Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (TDHH) - Clarksville, Tennessee

Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Current, valid Tennessee Department of Education teaching certification (DHH specialty required)
- Experience supporting deaf/hard of hearing students in K-12 educational settings
- Strong consultative and collaborative skills for working with general education teams and families
- Commitment to inclusive practices and individualized support
- Ability to adapt approaches to meet varied student needs across grade levels
- Ability to complete Tennessee fingerprinting and comply with evolving credentialing requirements
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver both direct and consultative services for DHH students based on IEPs and district needs
- Serve multiple schools or focus on specialized hubs, as assigned
- Collaborate closely with educators, interpreters, support staff, and parents to ensure access and success for each student
- Develop, implement, and monitor effective support strategies and modifications
- Attend relevant team meetings, participate in IEP processes, and maintain all required documentation
