Position Details:
- Contract position for the 2026–2027 school year
- Part-time: 2 days per week (16 hours total)

Qualifications:
- Current NC Deaf/Hard of Hearing (DHH) teaching license required
- Experience supporting students with hearing loss in a K-12 setting strongly preferred
- Knowledge of various communication methods, assistive technology, and individualized education planning (IEP)
- Strong collaboration and communication skills with multidisciplinary teams
- Commitment to inclusive, student-centered instructional practices
Role Responsibilities:
- Provide direct instruction and support services for students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing
- Develop and implement IEPs, adapting curriculum and materials as needed
- Support and consult with classroom teachers and staff regarding accommodations and best practices
- Foster engagement, independence, and self-advocacy skills among students
- Maintain detailed documentation and participate in regular meetings with educational teams and families
