Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing - Endicott, NY

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Deaf Education or related field
- Current DHH teaching certification required in the state of assignment (for travel applicants)
- Experience working with students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to foster an inclusive and positive classroom climate
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver specialized instruction tailored to meet the unique needs of students with hearing impairments
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Utilize various communication modalities including ASL, spoken language, and assistive technology
- Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and parents to promote student progress
- Engage in ongoing assessment and adjustment of instructional strategies
