What You’ll Be Doing
You'll provide specialized instruction and support to students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing in grades K–2. You’ll work closely with students, families, and school staff to support academic growth, communication development, and individual learning needs.

Assignment: Full-Time Leave Replacement
Dates: ASAP – January 2027
Grade Levels: K–2
Caseload: Approximately 20–25 students
Schedule: Full-time; hours are dependent on the school assigned
Pay: Competitive and based on experience, qualifications, and education
What We’re Looking For
Active Washington State Teaching Certificate, such as a Residency or Professional Certificate
Specialized certification/endorsement in Deaf Education or Deaf/Hard of Hearing (DHH)
Experience working with students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing is preferred
Strong communication, collaboration, and classroom management skills
