Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct instructional services to students who are deaf or hard of hearing, delivering tailored lessons and support
- Collaborate with general and special education teachers to ensure accessible curriculum and appropriate accommodations
- Monitor student progress and adapt strategies in response to individual educational plans (IEPs)
- Serve as a resource and advocate for students, families, and staff, promoting awareness and effective communication strategies
- Maintain timely and accurate records related to caseload, student progress, and IEP compliance
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute expert insight on instructional strategies for students with hearing loss
