Qualifications:
- Certification as a Teacher of the Deaf/Hard of Hearing (DHH)
- Experience working with school-age children in educational settings
- Strong understanding of DHH instructional strategies and inclusive practices
- Comfortable providing services in both onsite and virtual environments
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with students, staff, and families
- Ability to travel between multiple campuses as needed
Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized and group DHH services according to IEP requirements
- Support the development of language, communication, and academic skills
- Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families
- Participate in meetings, professional development, and IEP processes
- Maintain accurate documentation of services and student progress
- Adapt instruction and resources to accommodate diverse learning needs
